Incredible I know. But true. Two weeks ago I started a live experiment to see if I could dominate a search term for one of my poetry sites. Just key in ' funny 50th birthday poem ' into Google and you will see my site in position 1.

With my other links listed there, I also own 50% of page 1 and page 2 too.

I know from experience that these positions will only strengthen in the coming weeks, but after 2 weeks, I am absolutely delighted. I am also very impressed with what has happened with the nested terms, for example, I have 40% of page 1 for ' 50th birthday poem ' AND positions 7, 11 and 20 for the much, much harder ' birthday poem '.
