Word of Mouth Marketing (or Viral Marketing)
You will know by now that I am a great fan of viral marketing. To be honest, there are two solid reasons for that:
1. Viral traffic is very economical (once your systems are in place).
2. Viral traffic is always 'pre-sold' to some degree. Usually, when a friend has recommended something, it normally comes with an element of built in trust.
That's why I've been so generous in giving away nearly $3,000 worth of free gifts to anyone who recommends my site. It's a win for them (because they get lots of free gifts) and it's a win for me (because I get lots of new visitors). If you would like to see how I have it set up, please go to this page:

The software I have used is

To be honest, it is not for the faint hearted. They do have a $47 installation option, so if you don't know how to set up cron jobs, mysql databases and ftp, then I suggest it's a good option.
I would also recommend using hostgator as your host, because it was a nightmare trying to get my existing host to work.
Set up is actually quite quick, but I chose to give away 100 free gifts, so that took a while.
All in all, if you're trying to build a list or increase traffic to an existing web-site, it comes with my highest recommendation.
